Oyebanji : Furthering Progress in The  Educational Sector in Ekiti State, Says State PTA Chairman, Adeusi

The Chairman, Parent Teacher Association  in Ekiti State, Elder Adeusi  Adesoji Pius has lauded the Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency, Mr Biodun  Abayomi Oyebanji for coming out boldly again to feather the wings of the government policy on qualitative education in the State by elevating the position and standard of  primary school teachers from grade level 15 to 16 in the State.

 Speaking with journalists in his office, the chairman said, it is not  surprising or a second thought by the Governor, but the natural developmental instinct embedded in him and his good desire to continue to improve on the worth of education and the well-being of teachers and students in the State. 

 In his words, “at this most important period, the state Governor’s desire  to move the standard of Education further forward is highly welcome and also, putting the round peg in a round hole at the right time. we the parents are particularly excited and grateful to the Governor for this and his other remarkable initiatives. 

“I would want to reference here that in the last educational submit held in Ibadan at which stakeholders in education in the South West, and from outside deliberated on basic educational standard in both formal and informal sectors and how it might be applicable to other non – basic, and vocational training in the South West zone, of wish much emphasizes were made on the encouragements for the teaching profession and other relevant incentives for teachers. No doubt, our amiable Governor is hereby championing  and  leading the blaze at implementing some of these educational proposals.

 “As education is the best legacy that can be given to any human being, the present efforts of the Governor really show his seriousness at making sure, he leaves a remarkable foot prints on the sand of history in the educational sector in Ekiti State for prosperity to uphold.” 

 Adeusi ascertained that, members of the  Parent Teacher Association  “NAPTAN” in Ekiti State shall continue to pray and support his policy that will make education of our children more accessible and qualitative in all ratifications.
