As part of efforts to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship in the country, the Executive Chairman of Ayede Local Council Development Area, Hon. Aderemi Samuel Ajayi, has given cash gifts to 12 individuals across the wards in the LCDA.
According to him, the gesture was part of his administration’s efforts to make life more comfortable for his people. Ajayi, who noted that the present hardship in the country is temporary, saying his administration would always embark on various intervention programmes to cushion the effects of the hardship .
One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Oso Tunji, described the chairman as a generous man and thanked him for his kind gesture, assuring him that the money would be judiciously spent.”
