“As we enter this year, let us be more patriotic, supportive and prayerful to our government at all levels. I know where the challenges are, and we are working round the clock to nip it in the bud, so that our people can live and actualise their dreams”.

In his message of hope, Ogungbemi, said his leadership shall be forward looking  in devising policies to combat the challenges of insecurity and attract more investments to the council in the area of agriculture being promoted by Governor Oyebanji through robust cluster farming along Ipao-Oke Ako-Irele axis.

“As Ajoni LCDA continues to grow, I believe my legacies will be seen in the empowered students, thriving small businesses, security and stronger communities that benefit from my works. Under this context, I will have to redouble my efforts and roll up my sleeves for more achievements across all the sectors of the economy. This, I promise you my good people.

“We have touched the lives of our people through constructive engagements for inclusive governance, scholarship provision for youths to attain their dreamed academic heights, and attraction of youths into farming.

“Other achievements that have brought a paradigm shift and makes Ajoni LCDA epicentre of development include the consistent  distribution of food palliatives to malnourished infants, aged, orphans and vulnerable, and robust healthcare through paying of hospital bills of poor, but medically challenged people. We won’t rest on our oars”, he stated.

Ogungbemi said the new year, being a prelude to the 2026 governorship poll will be more tasking and  challenging, promising  to consolidate on the gains of the past to give the people a more rewarding and profitable future.
