The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ekiti State Council has congratulated the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Ekiti State Command, Mr Sunday Abutu, on his recent elevation to the rank of Superintendent of Police.
The union in a statement by its Chairman Comrade Kayode Babatuyi and signed by the Assistant Secretary, Victor Akinkuolie, rejoiced with the newly promoted PPRO and urged him to see the new rank as a call to service.
The Ekiti State NUJ while rejoicing with the Police image maker and the Ekiti State police command, urged him to continue in promoting the Nigeria Police in good light and ensure that his experience as a member of NUJ Ekiti State Council counts.
The Union equally urged him to always be a good ambassador of Ekiti NUJ with a promise that the union will continue to support him and by extension the Ekiti State Police Command.
