Ekiti Reps Member Omoleye Fulfills Campaign Promise with Construction of Classrooms in Ipole Iloro High School 

…As Olupole Hails Lawmaker’s “Unprecedented” Initiative

In line with his campaign promise to ensure equitable distribution of social amenities across Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, the lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon. Biodun Omoleye has completed the construction of a block of six classrooms at Ipole Iloro-Ekiti Commercial Grammar School.

Ipole Iloro, a community in Ekiti West Local Government Area, is one of the 24 towns that comprise Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II. 

The lawmaker, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Nigeria-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Group, facilitated the project to further demonstrate his commitment to the development of his constituency.

During an earlier visit to the project site, Hon. Omoleye commended the contractor for delivering a quality job within the stipulated time frame. 

He explained that the project was aimed at addressing the shortage of conducive learning spaces in the area, thereby enhancing the teaching and learning experience.

The federal lawmaker expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received from the people of Ipole Iloro-Ekiti during his election and assured them that more developmental projects would soon follow, not only in Ipole Iloro but across the entire constituency.

Meanwhile, the Olupole of Ipole Iloro-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babalola Oladele (JP),  praised Hon. Omoleye for his remarkable representation, saying the newly constructed classrooms are the first of their kind in the community. 

In a letter of appreciation, the monarch stated: “On behalf of Olupole in Council, the good people of Ipole Iloro-Ekiti in Ekiti West local government, we give glory to God Almighty for the completion of a bloc of six classrooms at Ipole Iloro Commercial Grammar School, courtesy of our amiable representative, Hon. Biodun Omoleye”

“We appreciate you for remembering us and for your support Since your assumption of office, we have been witnessing the difference in good representation.No representative has ever embarked on a gigantic projects like this in our community, this is unprecedented”. The Monarch affirmed.

Oba Oladele added that no previous representative had undertaken such a significant project in the community, describing it as unprecedented. 

He prayed for divine blessings and protection for the lawmaker and pledged the continued support of the community.

Also, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 7, Hon. Jeje Isaac, expressed his appreciation to Omoleye for making the party proud by facilitating the project, which he described as the largest constituency project ever witnessed in Ipole Iloro.

Similarly, the Principal of Ipole Iloro-Ekiti Commercial Grammar School, Mrs. Victoria Dada, thanked Hon. Omoleye on behalf of the students, staff, and management. 

She commended the lawmaker for bringing much-needed development to the school, noting the positive impact it would have on the students’ learning experience.
