Your Excellency’s leadership has revolutionized basic education in Ekiti State. We are grateful for your unwavering support and commitment to improving education infrastructure, teacher training, and learning outcomes.

Highlights of your major achievements in basic education include:

– Appointment of 1,500 primary school teachers

– Back-to-back payment of counterpart funds to UBEC

– Payment of over N200 million as car and housing loans to teachers in public primary schools

– Appointment of 3 Headmasters General in the state

– Purchase of 16 new Toyota Corolla cars for Education Secretaries to aid supervision and monitoring

– Training and retention of teachers

– Construction of new classroom buildings

– Renovation of classrooms

– Procurement of teachers’ and pupils’ furniture

– And many other infrastructure developments in public primary schools across the state.

You have performed creditably well in all the sectors, including education so much so you received unprecedented applause from home and in diaspora. Your set records of good governance and inclusiveness have also made you a beacon of excellence and unity.
