Ekiti SUBEB Chairman Eulogizes Gov. Oyebanji on 57th Birthday, Describes Him As Teachers’ Friendly 

The Executive Chairman of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi has joined the good people of the State to felicitate His Excellency, Mr.Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as he celebrates his 57th  birthday.

Prof. Akinwumi in a congratulatory statement made available to the press described the Governor as a leader whose passion for the basic education is worth recognized and celebrated.

The SUBEB boss opened the congratulatory message saying “Your Excellency, the people’s Governor, I celebrate your exemplary, visionary and purposeful leadership which has endeared you to your numerous admirers, particularly in the education community of Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.

“Your unparalleled and remarkable achievements in the basic education sector has continued to be the lead discussion among the local and global populace who confirmed your interest and passion towards human capital development, your motivational gestures, inclusive and shared prosperity agenda of your administration that have placed you above your contemporaries in the annals of the state’s governance.”

He hailed the governor over his support for improved standard of education, beginning from the basic levels through his unprecedented achievements in manpower and infrastructural development of basic schools across the state, stressing that, the gestures became a reality because of the teachers background of the governor.

“You have always prove to the whole world that you have the uncommon passion for teachers having grown tall in a family sorounded by teachers of different strata, no wonder your  unwavering commitment to development of basic schools across the state through regular promotion of teachers and provision of other incentives such as car and housing loans, conducive teaching – learning environment fashioned with modern infrastructural and instructional facilities which rank our schools among the best in Nigeria both in quantity and quality.”

 Prof. Akinwumi eulogized Governor Oyebanji for creating a political environment devoid of rancour and adversity irrespective of social, economic, religious and political differences, adding that the present  political harmony is a unifying force for greater development.

“Your continued dedication to add values to people’s lives irrespective of gender, cultural,  socio-economic, political and religious backgrounds through lives – transforming policies, empowerment packages and infrastructural development of the state, therefore making you a unifying force and closing bridges among political stalwarts will continue to inspire the people and raise their hope for a greater future.

“You are a leader of uncommon qualities which you have continued to demonstrate by introducing humility, respect and service into governance to showcase yourself as a servant – leader, restoring our hope of political peace and our common identity as ‘ONI UYI, ONI EYE’

He said the birthday occasion is a veritable platform to celebrate a visionary leader who is not only dedicated to selfless service but also passionate to making the state greater by giving it a well planned future through qualitative education to raise the next generations of nation builders and therefore prayed for God’s protection and guidance for greater achievements.

“On this auspicious occasion of your birthday, I identify with other well wishers to celebrate you and pray that the almighty God will grant you good health, long life, divine strength and wisdom to continue to move Ekiti State forward in all ramifications, particularly in the basic education sector.”
