— Endorses Oyebanji For Second Term
The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele FADUGBA has said that the welfare of the people of his Local Government, both young and old is paramount to his Government.
Speaking at a media chat with journalists on Thursday at the NUJ secretariat, Hon Fadugba also endorsed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for second term. He affirmed that he came to this conclusion because of the numerous people orientated projects and programmes the Governor has embarked on.
The Council Boss stressed that Governor Oyebanji’s human and infrastructural development in all sectors needed consolidation therefore, there is need for the Governor to continue with his good and progressive works in Ekiti state”.
Recounting his numerous achievements since his assumption of office six months ago, Hon Fadugba disclosed that he had paid NECO fee for SS3 students across the council adding that, the best students from SSS1 to SSS3 were rewarded handsomely.
According to the Chairman,” As the chief Servant of Moba Local Government, I prioritize the welfare of both the youths and the elderly, many of them were given soft loans to expand their Businesses while food items were given to them on regular basis.
Also, I have empowered many youths in their various areas of specialization and I will continue to do more ”
The Chairman said the Council is set to unveil a local security outfit code-named (MASE) MOBA ABOBA SECURITY ENFORCEMENT. According to him, ”The security of lives and properties of my people is paramount to me, so I need to put in place an outfit that will further strengthen the security of Moba”
He also added that he will soon unveil Indoor games center for the youths and the elderly.
Appreciating the cooperation and support of Ekiti journalists in projecting the good works of the governor, the council boss also solicited the support of Journalists in the State to project the activities of his Local Government while promising the Local Government’s support to NUJ projects whenever the need arises.
Earlier, the NUJ chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi had commended the chairman for his good intention and initiative to visit and familiarise himself with Ekiti journalists.
