Staff of Ministry of Local Government Affairs (MLGA) have been advised to put in their best while discharging their official duties.
The Permanent Secretary, Mr Babatunde Olaoye, who has just been transferred to the Ministry, gave the charge at his maiden weekly Assembly meeting with members of staff on Monday in Ado Ekiti.
Olaoye said he was glad to be in the midst of the staff and prayed for a robust union and working relationship with the staff of the Ministry.
While soliciting for their cooperation in achieving the best, he charged members to pay attention to details in the discharge of their official duties and reciprocate government kind gesture with unalloyed loyalty.
The PS declared every 3rd Friday of the month as MLGA Sanitation day, where all the staff would be involved in the exercise. Earlier in his sermon, a member of staff, Mr. Leye Dada who took his bible passage from 2Corinthians 13:14, said that the month of May is a month of grace in which everyone should pray for God’s divine grace as a guide in the daily discharge of there duties.
He admonished members to walk closely with God and have His fear for the grace to abound
